Yes, I have seen CATS live. I was in the 3rd row center orchestra seat. It was absolutely amazing. Brian Barry played Mr Mistofelees and was unbelievable!!! I saw it also about 10 years ago, and had nosebleed seats, it wasn't nearly as exciting. My jaw was just about on the floor when mistofelees finished and he looked right at me and winked. :o) I can't wait until it comes back here. I have the video also, and although it's not as exciting as the play, it's still fun to watch. I have the cd as well, and the music is as inspirational as the dancing. I hate to sound "weird" about this play, but it truly is wonderful. You have to really listen to the words and pay attention to get anything out of this play. But once you do, you'll get a whole new perspective on cats.
