This is a near-totally pointless rant about how sick I am about hearing of the Impending Global Meltdown that is Y2K.

The media has hyped the possible disasters so much that I think they've created self-fulfilling prophecies.

The other day a friend of mine even went so far as to say to me, "I wonder if my car will start?".

Thankfully, I managed to maintain enough self-control to sit on my hands before I could punch him in the face.
