I love meat and all you can do with it, but I'm surprised so many people picked that over the wonders of dairy (cheese, ice cream, etc) and the breads and grains (fresh bread has no peers). > > > > Well, I think rice is probably the most versatile food in the world, and as much as I love it, I'm such a carnivore. Some times I think my tastes in food are wierd, but maybe I just have vegetarian tendencies. I like rice, too. Lots of it. I've been known to eat it for three meals the same day. I can't stand chicken. And I don't like fish. I never eat wild game. I could live without pork, but I eat a little sometimes. My favorite is beef but I don't want more than a couple of ounces at a meal. I like it lean and cooked all the way through. My favorite burger is a veggieburger with everything on it. I have to control my passion for desserts and bread. Salsa and chips is my snack of choice and I tend to graze all day if I'm not careful. Fortunately I have a lean face so people don't realize how much flab I'm carrying around. I found another reason to lose weigh: I read an article in the Cushman Club magazine the other day about how to get better performance from you scooter. One suggestion was to go on a diet and loose weight. Old time scooters perform better with less rider bulk. In other words, if you won't do it for yourself, do it for your scooter. Howard
