I know how teachers think, and that means that if you were absent yesterday, here is where you get your assignments for today. It's a fact of life that if a student is out one day, they think that excuses them from two day's assignments.
"Where is your homework?"
"I don't have it because I was absent yesterday."
"Ok. Where is yesterday's homework?"
"I don't have it because I was absent yesterday."

I could pick that teacher out of a mob. I've seen so many teachers, I know they are teachers before they even open their mouth. Once when we were traveling a car pulling a camper passed. I looked at the man, woman and two kids, and said to my wife, "There goes two teachers." We wound up in the same campground that night and sure enough, they were teachers. I wish I knew how I do it. If I was going to be given a gift, why couldn't it have been picking Kentucky Derby winners?
