This is a little too close to home for me. I have 2 kids in school and I don't even want to think of it happening to them. Talk about a shock to hear. Fort Gibson is a very small town, with a population of less than 10,000. If it can happen there, I guess it truly *can* happen anywhere.

I LOVE action shoot em up movies and games, theres nothing more fun than shooting you friend with a 8 foot long rocket launcher over and ovr again, but that doesn't mean i'm going to go out on a killing spree. it's all a problem with the kids.

The problem *is* with the kids... and their parents... and the media... and the NRA...and...

Essentially, "If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem." There are obviously too many people out there who are unable to understand the value of human life, the results of their own actions, or simply other people's right to exist. Unfortunately, in many cases all of the above mentioned parties (and others not mentioned) contribute to and perpetuate a certain segment of society's warped sense of reality and morality. If more individuals and other entities would start *really* thinking about how their actions affect others, and act responsibly accordingly, then we may see some changes. Unfortunately, that's just not realistic.
As best stated in Terminator 2: "We are not going to make it as a society." "It's in our nature"

A few years ago, I painted a picture entitled: "Mankind's ultimate fate".
Sitting on the ground of a barren wasteland is a man, the last man. Both of his legs have been eaten off (knife and fork inclusive), both arms have been chewed off to the shoulder, and he's managed to swallow his face up to his hair.
