What happened to the best franchise in NFL history? Being an avid fan, I am more than crushed now that they don't dominate anymore. Even the Bengals are favored over them. What's up with this?

Well, let's start with the basics. They are in desperate need of a quarterback. I don't know who Steve young is kidding, but he is audi like 5 thousand. Stenstrom is not anywhere near the level that the team needs, even with the trio of great recievers and Greg Clark, tight end, who is under used might I add. On monday night Green Bay blitzed all over the place, daring Stenstrom to throw the ball, and he never proved that he could.

Next, there's the offensive line. It is a very underrated position, and the 49ers aging offensive line has more holes in it than Starship Troopers had holes in the plot. (Or you can pick another terrible movie.)

At running back, they are not in bad shape, with Charlie Garner being there. Lawrence Phillips was a huge mistake, as predicted by myself the day they signed him. The fullback isn't bad either.

Defense, oh defense. One of the big woes of the 49ers. Ouch. Ronnie Lott, Merton Hanks, Marcus Pope, are all great DBs that we kinda lost to other teams. doesn't that suck. oh well.

In the ninties, excluding this season, they had scored an offensive touchdown in 139 out of 144 games. That is five that they haven't gotten to the end zone in. In this year they have equaled that total and qill probably break it before the end of the year.

And I am rebelling against the tradition of putting something in between my name.
