My fantasy is time travel. I want to load my antique motorscooter into my '95 Toyota truck and go back to the time when the scooter was new. The place would be Fort Pierce, Fla. were I lived from 1948 to 1951. The scooter wouldn't be noticed, but the truck would. In those days, all pickup trucks were three speed manuals with about 100 hp in a flathead six or eight. They would do about 75 on a good road if you could find one. What would they think about a truck with five gears, 142 horsepower (in an overhead cam four!)with air conditioning and cruise control. It would outrun and outdrag anything in Ft. Pierce in those days. Ah, but it is not to be.
