I've always wondered what the greatest thing was before sliced bread. Whenever I ask someone about it, they usually tell me it was unsliced bread, but what's so great about bread if it's not sliced? My eighth grade science teacher told me it was the steam engine. He may be right, even though steam engines have little to nothing to do with baked goods.
