For those of you who haven't already discovered it for yourselves, RinkChat is open. With the dual combination of this forum and the chat area, hopefully all needs will be met.

I'm going to play a lot of this by ear: the chat area is up as an experiment at the moment. There's still a couple of bugs and weirdnesses, but it seems to be quite operable, and it's gotten a lot of good use so far this morning. I'll play it by ear whether or not I should split it up into multiple rooms or leave it as one -- there are other decisions of that caliber that will eventually need to be made, too.

Anyway, I'll be patching up the remaining flaws in the scripts tonight; in the meantime, please feel free to drop in and give the system a workout.
