I take things apart. When I was at college I decided one warm fall day to clean my bike, and ended up taking it apart, right down to the ball bearings. My father took the pieces home in a plastic grocery bag, and I believe they are still in that bag to this day.

Since then I've learned only to take apart broken things that I don't need.
