One BIG warning about mapping the garden (I got stuck because I didn't realize this at first): many of the paths "curve". Be sure to read the description text that tells you how the paths go. If it says something like "The north path curves to the east" then realize Sam's just being tricky and that to get back from the new location, you'll need to go west (not south). Weird, eh?
