I don't know...I kind of like the term for some reason. I take it to mean "non-ethnic white person", although I guess ethnic whites have also been called honkies. Chris Rock once quipped that the term honky, originally intended to be derogatory, never really became all that effective: "Call a white guy 'honky', and he's liable to turn around and go, 'Hey, thanks, bro!'"
