It's one of the humor features. The key line is: "Don't make me spell it out, Egollia. Take an acronym and change the vowel. She means a lot to you, doesn't she? Naturally, she would."

Basically if you take the acronym of one of the humor features, you get something that, should you change the solitary vowel to a different one, you get an important female role. That's your answer.
