Here is a place where everyone can gloat!

If you think gloating is rude then please just don't visit because you were warned.

Now gloating can be rude but it can also be fun so in the spirit of fun ....

here is my first gloat.

In the text adventure game here on Rinkworks called, "Assault On Vampire Island" by Mike Cuellar I have achieved new low scores for all 8 (Eight) endings.

Okay Okay, that was overstated. New low scores for 6 of the 8 endings and tied for low score on the other 2.

Before I go on, credit where credit is due. I had two hints that helped me solve it the first time. So thanks to decarter51 and RiftTraveler. Now I wish that I had kept at it longer before I gave in and asked for hints but when your stuck it stops being fun so hints it was.

Now for a summary of the new low scores just to complete this gloat.

Overall low score:
My new: 204 the old: 217 by decarter51 and then altimadark (fyi, decarter51 was one of the people to give me a hint) (a 13 move improvement)

And now the specifically for the 8 possible endings from worst to best (the worst being almost harder than the rest):

Worst ending:
My new: 440 the old: 443 by beavinator (only a 3 move improvement)

Get the thunder gag only:
My new: 440 the old: 448 by nimueway (only an 8 move improvement)

Only kill the vampire:
My new: 204 the old: 261 by zimmy (a 57 move improvement!)

Kill the vampire and get the gag:
My new: 208 the old: 529 by ajean (a wopping 321 move improvement!!!)

Get the treasure (and kill the vampire):
My new: 211 the old: 217 by dcarter51 (again, s/he gave me a hint so I shouldn't gloat to much) (only a 6 move improvement)

Get the treasure and the gag (and the vampire)
My new: 215 the old: 362 by corjonbett (a big 147 move improvement!)

Kill the horseman (and the vampire and the get treasure)
Here we have a tie at 217, decarter51 and then altimadark got there first (and again decarter51 gave me one of my two hints so ....)

Lastly the best ending: Kill the horseman and get the gag (and the vampire and the treasure)
Another new tie at 221, manigen got there first.
