Assault on Vampire island

ok, so inventory is;

bottle of acid
box of matches
bucket filled with water
crowbar
digital watch
rope
rose
small metal key
sword
threatening note
werewolf fang

I've defeated the mummy, aligator, hyde, and the werewolf. I can get into the castle. What do I do next? Any hints? Also, I thought I read that once you get into the castle, that until you kill the vampire there is no reason to go outside, but I can't find a thing inside. Also, the lighthouse is pointed north if it is important. Any help would be fantastic.
