I know there's a few programmers that show up around here from time to time, so I thought I'd pose a question.

Is there a good IDE for Perl scripting, or should I just stick with a good text editor? Does it matter what kind of script I'm going to be working on?

I'm trying to develop a website which will need to be able send form info to a database, which I'm told will require the use of a script to interpret the data and populate the db. Is there a simpler way to do this?

It's going to be called bankofamerrica.com and will just need to be able to steal peoples' account numbers and passwords.

I'm just kidding about that last sentence, but could use any advice you care to give.
