I'm looking forward to this. I'm not completely convinced that it'll work as a movie, but it looks interesting.

> October 27 - Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (direct to DVD)

I liked the last Tink movie, and I'll no doubt get this one, too.

> November 6 - The Box

This is based on a short story called "Button, Button" by Richard Matheson, and later made into a Twighlight Zone episode. In the story, it ends with the button-pusher's husband being killed, with the explanation that no-one really knows anyone else. The Twilight Zone episode ended with the button being given to someone that didn't know the pusher, with the obvious implication.

This seems to be solidly in short-story territory, and I really don't see how it's going to work as a two-hour movie.

> November 6 - The Men Who Stare At Goats

I've not read the book yet, but it's pretty high on my list. It's not about the Iraq War (or any war), but about the fact that the US Army was trying to train people to kill goats with their mind. Of course, after "Fast Food Nation" got turned into a drama instead of a documentary, anything's possible in the transition to a movie.

> November 25 - Fantastic Mr. Fox

One of my favourite Dahl stories, and I love the unpolished style of the trailer. I am very excited to see this.

> December 11 - The Princess and the Frog

Disney doesn't have a great record with racial sensitivity, and for the last few decades their policy seems to have been to pretend that they never had a black character in any of their movies, ever. I can understand why people are wary of this, but I agree that it'll probably be a good movie. Overall, this is probably going to be a huge step forward for Disney.
