That's about the coolest thing I've ever heard.

The problem is I'm not sure what to watch after that. I looked at his IMDB page and I'm not terribly familiar with most of his other movies. I think next on my list would be Sahara and the Maltese Falcon. I'm interested in Sirocco, but mainly because I very much miss my old VW Scirocco. > > What are the best Bogart movies, in your opinion?
You're asking about one of my two favorite actors of all time. (The other is Spencer Tracy.) What's wonderful about Bogart is that not only was he a great actor, but he acted in a LOT of great movies. An actor is unusually lucky to have a single masterpiece in his filmography, but Bogart had about a dozen, depending on how conservative you are with the term.
Sirocco is very minor Bogart, but if you want to watch it, of course you should do so. I hear Sahara is very good, but I haven't seen it.
But you cannot go wrong with The Maltese Falcon, one of the greatest detective films of all time, or The Big Sleep, another of the greatest detective films of all time. Both of those are essential Bogart viewing.
Other Bogart movies I love beyond all reason:
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre To Have and Have Not The African Queen
And others that I love less only by comparison:
The Caine Mutiny Dark Passage Key Largo The Petrified Forest [his breakthrough performance] High Sierra Angels With Dirty Faces In a Lonely Place
Have fun.
