A bright star has set in all his glory.
Paul Harvey, a radio pioneer and giant of the airwaves, has died. Never again will we "stand by for news." The times I spent listening to him will never be forgotten. He had a marvelous voice for radio, and an unforgettable delivery. He told story after story in a simple but highly effective way. He was a champion of personal freedom and responsibility. He was an old-fashioned gentleman and patriot. The radio world is poorer today than it was yesterday, but the memories will live on. Paul Harvey will be deeply missed by many people.
". . . And now you know--the REST of the story."
