Mrs. Iss and I just returned from a vacation in Montreal, where we tried poutine for the first time. I thought it was very tasty indeed. (Poutine, for those like me who had never heard of it before, is french fries topped with gravy and cheese curds, as well as optional extras like bacon or mushrooms. YUM. :-d )

Also, the people were indeed very polite and friendly, even after learning that our home town hosts a rival hockey team (the Carolina Hurricanes).
