You know, if you want easier matchups, maybe you shouldn't hold back so much gold every round in the prelims ;P Not that it helped quicksilvre much. I still say it's best to be in the 3rd or 4th spot as opposed to the 1st (or 2nd if there's an odd number of participants), but still, on the ~average~...

Seriously though, yeah, +10/+10 seems to be the way to go. I think if you've got at least Steel Plates and put the extra gold into worthy investments I think you still have a chance, but you have to pretty much call the elements perfectly. Wonder if Sam's gonna make any more changes...
