Ah, goodness. As usual, you're all more creative at coming up with ideas for new gameplay elements than I have time to invest. I was going to change the pricings around and call it a day. Doing just that will mess things up enough to send you all back to the drawing board.

It would be nice, though, to throw in some of these other ideas, too. I really like the idea of weapons with extra properties, partly because I don't think it would be that hard to add. I don't think I can do anything beyond changing the prices and resale penalties for next month, but I'll keep some of these ideas in mind.
