You know, one thing I was never quite sure of was how points for a loser is actually determined. The instructions say that "you do get more points the more you beat your opponents up before losing", but I don't believe it ever says exactly how points are determined for losses (unlike gold, which is in the FAQ). Sometimes you get matches like these: http://www.rinkworks.com/monster/results.cgi?game=40&user=gilgamesh&battle=6
Where the points are very close to the Prize - Medical Expenses, so for a while I thought that maybe it was something like (Prize - Medical Expenses) - (Opponent's remaining HP / 5), sort of an inverse medical expenses penalty. When I tried to think of another close match in the prelims though, the first one I remembered was:
http://www.rinkworks.com/monster/results.cgi?game=36&user=alexfrog&battle=3
This is one that the player won, but as you can tell, the points gained for the loser (computer) are nowhere close to the (Prize - Medical Expenses), despite the fact that the opponent's remaining HP is only 6. Also, looking at some of the finals matches, I've had losses where my points were (presumably) more than the (Prize - Medical Expenses):
http://www.rinkworks.com/monster/results.cgi?game=40&user=automator&battle=14&ret=2
Assuming there's a 1500-point bonus for being the loser in the finals (as opposed to a 3000-point bonus for being the winner: 3000 + 500 - 117 = 3383)

Maybe this is how it's supposed to be, maybe not. I'm not really sure, as like I said, I don't think there's even been a stated rule that says how you're supposed to calculate what your points should be if you lose a match.

I would be more worried about it, except that I really would rather just not lose if I can at all help it :)
