1. Do you honestly think that manually aimed weapons could hit space ships going at light speed?
2. Does your story include evil aliens who want to wipe out all humans and take over
the earth because, there, well evil aliens?
3. Do two completely different species from two different planets interbreed without any signifigant problems?
4. Are the half-breeds produced in such unions also able to reproduce and multiply without any difficulty?
5. Are the heroes aided by a nieave robot simpleton who may or may not have been abused by his previous boss and/or creator?
6. Does the crew of a space craft use naval jargon to refer to different parts of the craft (i.e. the bridge, the upper
deck etc.) just because its called a space "ship"?
7. Will the gravity simmulator always work perfectly, no matter what damage the space ship has endured, or what other vital systems
are failing?
8. Is one of the biggest, if not the biggest problem in your future society overpopulation despite the fact that most
developed nations in the world today have record low birth rates?
9. Are the only asethic differences between an alien race, and modern humans relate to facial features, skin and height?
10. Do members of a utopian society often dissapear to "insert euphanism" and its later found out that
there being ritually killed?
11. Are there any aliens who despite being a bunch of blood thirsty, trigger happy, genocidal maniacs towards other races manage to exists
with each other peacfully under one world goverment?
12. Did you shamelessly rip off a fantasy novel by changing the story just enough so it could be set in a highly advanced
galaxy instead of an imaginary middle age kingdom?
13. Is the big twist that the protagonists of your story are actually living on earth after some sort of dooms day scenario?
14. Is some sort of "war against the machines" going on?
15. Are the machines winning until your hero gets involved?
16. Does a super computer become self aware?
17. Where you inspired by Star Trek, Star Wars or absolutely anything broadcast on the Space Channel?
18. Do you consider having your characters make obvious references to well known sci-fi franchises witty?
