Game of the Ages: Where are those apples?

I've managed to get quite the way on GoA, though now it was apparently time to get stuck.

I'm on my way to the elves, but Sea Nymph won't
go out through the gate. I've read in some posts about people having apples. Assuming these are for the horse; where do you find them?
