ESM: Generally Confused

I seem to be wandering around aimlessly, collecting items and tasks without using or finishing any of them.
So far I am supposed to:
get the teeth marks/fingerprints,
quiet the SR1C class,
find an artist,
get something organic for the physics teachers (not leaves; Agnelo's coin was no good),
stop the kung fu fight,
get ingredients to help Mrs Desai in her power struggle,
and get Mrs Awatif something "wiggly" to eat.

My inventory is:
Blue Paint
Chart
Eraser
Mop-Head
Wire
Bottle
Cheese
Glasses
Perma-Tie
Wrench
CD Player
Coffee Filter
Grass
Scalpel
Chalk
Demerit
Mirror
Slip of Paper

Feeling a little overwhelmed here. Is there one that would be good to start with? And a hint for whatever that one is, please? I've made minimal progress on some of them, like the male teachers want proof that the women are kung fu fighting and I found the room with the photographers--but really I haven't a clue how to actually solve any of them. Help appreciated!
