Our daughter and her husband bought a small piece of land as an investment. Their accountant said that if they parked a trailer on it, it becomes a tax deduction as a second home. It didn't matter how small, as long as it had a bathroom. They couldn't find one used, so they bought a new one. About 16 feet, I think. But they were manufactured in Minnesota and it would cost an arm and a leg to ship it to Tennessee. So they decided to go get it.

However, their truck is old and needs new tires, so they bought a new truck, and headed north. Neither of them had been to Minnesota before so they did a little internet research about places they wanted to see. They are now touring Minnesota with a new truck pulling a new trailer and seem to be having so much fun, I don't know when they will get home. Thanks to cell phones and wireless internet, we get regular updates.

One thing sure; that better be a whopper of a tax break.
