Intriguing matches in the first elimination round:

#3 Arawn defeats #8 Thnikkaman:
The defending champ got it done, overcoming an agility disadvantage in the process. Arawn's still sitting near the bottom of the field, however, and gets tough match against Paulajo.

#4 Rathorne defeats #9 Nell:
Nell's unbalanced lineup was taken apart by Rathorne's wrecking crew.

#24 Gnawbird defeats #17 Splainin2Do:
Gnawbird didn't have a whole lot of trouble with Splainin2do, despite being the low qualifier of the two.

UPSET OF THE DAY: Karhard defeats Jarek
Karhard hadn't won a match in the tournament. Jarek hadn't lost one. So much for trends. This match was agonizingly close, with a 1 point agility advantage being the deciding factor at the end.

Match to watch in Elimination Round 2:
#7 Trogdont vs. #23 Cheeze33 - Cheeze33 is one of those consistent players in the Top 25 that is looking to take the next step to advance up the rankings. In order to take that step, you have to climb over some of the best players, and 10-time quarterfinalist Trogdont is certainly one of the best. On top of that, Trogdont's squad just looks FIERCE!
