Actually I'm pretty much trying to solve every game there is currently, but let's do this one at a time.

I've managed to fit the cog in but don't know where to get the key or how to make any progress at all.

Inventory:

Acorns
Spade
Pocket Knife
Translated Papyrus
Map of the Maze

Lavender
Iron Key
Tourist Brochure
Birdseed

Fuel Can
Silver Key
Feather
Map of Brackly Hall

Right now I'm in the Map Room.
