The booster job doesn't require a map. Just follow the instructions carefully and remember that the two boosters that are set differently from the other four have to be on opposite sides of the station. Because the six boosters are in a ring, that means the two specially set ones are three locations apart, but you can pick any such pair. Also, if you think you have it but it doesn't work, make sure it's not backwards. For example, a booster would have to be pointed southward to give the station a northward rotational boost.

A diagram for the conduit job would help a lot -- commonly people do it with twelve dots, six rows of two. Try searching the Hints Board with subject "conduit" and you'll see a lot of discussion on it with varying degrees of spoilers.

Also, make sure to take a close look at the ship you'll be going out with. You need to use one of your new items there to be able to do anything at all for the conduit job.
