I've done searches and have read every post I can find. I've tried everything and every combination I can think of, but cannot get more than seeing an outline and hearing something way down below. I have read that not all three drawers should be open and have found that the right drawer does nothing. I lose the outline if I don't have both the middle and left drawer open. So I assume those two must be open, even though I have tried turning the crown left and right with one of the two closed then with the other of the two closed. Nothing. I don't know how to "re-set" the crown back to starting position as I have lost count of how many turns I've made with it. I have been trying for at least two hours and have a terrible headache. Am about to give up and figure I'm just too stupid to solve this puzzle.

I have sent the sheriff for help. I have:

Matches, Feather, Canteen, Mustache, Piece of broken glass, wood, key, rapier, cape, spittoon, hat pin, playing cards, string and mask.

I don't think I'm missing any items, as I don't really think the items matter with this puzzle, but maybe that's why I can't solve it.

Please help if you can, I'd really appreciate it.
