Great painting! I can almost hear it. It's not Dollywood, but a good bet would be the White Pass Railroad in Alaska. There is a tressel there that curves like that. Dollywood has a locomotive that used to run that line. In fact it's the one in my picture. It's a Baldwin 2-8-2, narrow gauge. The WPRR has several engines, steam and diesel. One of them looks like the one in your painting.
I think White Pass is above Skagway, unless I have my Alaskan towns all mixed up. Or you might find information and pictures just by searching White Pass Rail Road.
