Okay then. I don't have an exact sequence written down in the book, but I DO have some notes on the fight with Pheicryn, and I think I've figured out your problem.

This combo is the most successful one you've tried. In fact, it's exactly what you want to do...

...at LEAST three times if my notes are any indication. See, the first couple times, kicking her will apparently fail, but I believe the third (or fourth, who knows) time you'll succeeded in literally kicking her into the second part of the fight. (You'll know it when you get there.)
