Need a new hint for Outlaws

Looks like I'm stuck again. I've won the bar fight, gotten gold from the wagon guy by cooking a stew, fought the Indians, and checked into the boardinghouse. Examined my room thoroughly but found nothing (except a button) Already had the horse's shoes repaired when he threw one. Now am just revisiting same old places over and over. Someone help me out?
