I need to sharpen the scalpel, and I'm using the chain, bicycle and towel holder, but it says "Though the roll is spinning around faster than the bike wheel, it's still not moving fast enough to sharpen your scalpel."

I also need to get onto the roof, and I can't seem to bug the security guard enough. Trying to walk out or talk to him don't work.
