You need to get some paper. Write in the names of the places or rooms you visit. Put arrows going N, S, E, W ect showing were you are going and where you have been. It's really the only way you will be able to find your way around as the game progresses. I use copier paper and scotch tape the back when my map get larger. I also make little notes of things that are in that particular area. It makes it easier to know what to do next.
