Because you're getting there too late. You need to get there faster.

How? Well, the only way to measure time in this game is the number of moves it takes you. The less moves, the less time. (And isn't it convenient that those platforms let you teleport from one to the other and skip six moves?)

If you've been mapping out the landscape as you go, this should be a piece of cake.
