I played this game and finished it about a year ago. It took forever. I think this time around it will take forever and a day.

My inventory is
Broken sword of failing
diving mask
magic armor of magic
pick
ticket
key of questioning
life preserver
stone of strenthening
food rations
dead fish
bucket
rope.

I've been west of town. Fought the dragon. Went for a swim. Visited the idiot. How do I get into the shack? Can't do anything west of town in the forest. I can't remember a thing. Help
