I have already said the I resolve not to make any resolutions, so without much resolve, I guess that I might probably sort of try to write my novel. The whole thing, complete except for minor details, is still up there among the cobwebs, and all I really need to do is sit here and key it into the 'puter.
The beauty of writing a novel these days is that I don't have to sell it to a publisher. If I want it published, I can put it on the internet somewhere. It won't cost me anything and won't earn me anything, but that isn't the point. I never believed this would happen, but I don't need the money. At my age, you don't worry about putting funds away for your old age.
So as soon as I can straighten out the kinks in the timeline of my story, I can write the Great American Novel. But first, I need to clean up the clutter on my computer, and around my compter, and out in my shop. Cleaning up the yard can wait until spring, but I have some pictures to post and some drivel for RinkWorks. . . . . Well, you see the problem. But I'm certainly not going to make any resolutions.
