PLEASE HELP ME ON FANTASY QUEST 1

I'm really stuck on fantasy quest 1. I can't get past the Evil Wood Sprite, I have given the soothsayer 1 gold coin (but I can't find any more), and I can't get past the cat in the gardens!! Please help me!

I have:

Sack
Branch
Diamond
Nails
Jewel

Carrot
Silver Key
Shovel
Bow
Club

Rope
Sword
Hammer
Arrow
Ticket

PS: I also can't do anything about the guy who doesn't talk or the gnome in the enchanted forest
