Oops! They struck out on me. At least they did unless "the inland north" means Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida. I have a southern accent. I travel a lot, and people usually assume I am from the south.
Want to hear a funny one? My wife has lived her entire life in Tennessee, unless you count a few months or weeks outside the state from time to time, but on a recent cruise, she was twice assumed to be from England! The first time my chin dropped to the floor, but the second time it only went to my knees. Howard
