I think I may have mentioned in this forum before that years ago (it's been almost ten years now, wow!) I used to work at a restaurant whose clientele consisted I would say of about 75-90% senior citizens. And we dealt with customers, both men and women, like that every day. Old, grumpy, mad at the world.
But the really nice people who smiled at you every day and thanked you for your service outnumbered 'em.
