Paeroa is a very, very small nothing of a town in the middle of the North Island of NZ. In the old days it was famous for a mineral water spring and they used to bottle and sell "Paeroa water". L&P is the great NZ soft drink. It hasn't been made in Paeroa for fifty years, it doesn't taste like lemon, and for all I know it doesn't even have any Paeroa water in it. Tastes good, though.
