No, but that's an interesting bit of trivia. There were *tons* of Bond ripoffs in the late 60s, and that'll get mentioned briefly next week, but yeah, the casting sort of distinguishes it from the others. Besides Neil Connery playing the lead role, a bunch of Bond veterans are also in it: Bernard Lee (M), Lois Maxwell (Moneypenny), Adolfo Celi (villain in Thunderball), Anthony Dawson (henchman in Dr. No), and Daniela Bianchi (Bond girl from Thunderball).
It's a pretty astonishingly terrible movie, though.
