Well I haven't beaten this one in a while, but I remember about the secret area.
Remember the teacher who wants to cast a spell? I think it's the chemistry guy. When you beat his mission try looking at his voodoo book and grabbing the page. This will fly away... Find it and then keep looking for it. If you must know after the mission a person should meet an unexpected end... Find out where he ended up and search him.
Just keep following that piece! Then you should get the recipe...
Oh and FYI this is the beginning of this long long long puzzle.
