You know one wire MUST be red from the instructions. There are two red wires, so Solder A has two possibilities. I believe the instructions explicitly tell you what to solder the other end to, so two choices are possible there.
As for the twisting... well, you got a little hint, saying the "solenoid" wire is "smaller"... that should narrow it down tremendously. And only two cables come out of the battery itself... two choices again.
So it's more or less four choices total (don't ever think that cable can only be used once... it can be used twice, though the solution might not use it twice)...
1. Front-red to Known Terminal 2. Back-red to Known Terminal
with
1. Tiny Thing to Positive Terminal 2. Tiny Thing to Negative Terminal.
Just re-read the Instructions, figure out which two are set, then try the four possibilities (1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2). One of them -will- work if you have the right info, and you'll be notified when it works.
