Back to normal

After the "summer of appointments" I am ready to get back to my normal life. At my age, even healthy people have a lot of appointments. That's everything from haircuts to doctor visits. I have had eye exams, dental exams, regular physical, a minor hospital proceedure, and those were just mine. My wife and her mother, both also healthy at 70 and 90, have had a few dozen visits of their own, and I'm the driver.
So now it's time to travel. I'm 150 miles west of home right now, but when we get home it will be for just a day and then we leave for a scooter meet in Hiawassee, Geogia. Then there is the Natchez Trace road trip, north to south this time. I have to go visit my sister and my grand kids in between the scoot meet and the Trace, and then in late October, it's California and a cruise to Hawaii. By the time we get home from that it will be November and I will be looking for something in a warm place. Otherwise, I will be forced to work on some projects at home.
I never go to New England in winter. Fortunately, my baby sister in Massachusetts has a son and some grandchildren in Georgia, so they come down this way a lot. It has been two or three years since I have been up there.
I need to hurry up and have some fun before the appointments start again. Howard
