Nashville has always had good bus service. Even in the 1950's I could go anywhere on the bus. The city is laid out like the spokes of a wheel with downtown at the hub, so you could get on a bus in the outskirts and ride down to the hub, then transfer to another "spoke" and go just about anywhere.

The trains, if they work, will bring people in from neighboring counties to the bus system. If the cost is reasonable, and it works effiecently, it should be a success.
