Yesterday I was introduced to the concept of Woot. Woot is a website that sells electronics, but with a very unique marketing model. They only sell one item a day, generally. From what I've gathered so far, the items vary widely in nature, and can be used or new, but are always sold at closeout prices. When a new item goes up, it either sells out or is replaced at midnight with a new item.

Occasionally they have something called a w00t-off, where they sell a series of items at lower-than-normal prices. I've not explored it yet, but apparently Woot has a large community following that post to the forums there and on w00t-off days they say it's like a big party. Or so says the Wikipedia article on the site.

Anyway, I was intrigued, and I thought some of my fellow Rinkies might be as well.
