Hi. I am now play The Quest of Kael, and I can't seem to figure out how to get past the endless tunnel or Chorain. Can someone please give me a hint on what to do? My inventory is:

A rusty sword,
A strong rope,
A silver idol,
A fishing rod,
A short knife,
A hook,
A candle,
A mystic cloak,
An open oyster,
A magic book and
A lighter.

Any help would be appreciative. Thanks.
